Team PS FSK Italy dominates the Italian Cup in Monza
Hi skater, this is the inside view of the competition in Monza from Tiziano Ferrari. 4 disciplines, rollercross, speed, style, high jump and 4 athletes from Powerslide: Barbara, Luca, Davide and Tizy. The competition started this time on Saturday with rollercross, and the PS men were together in the final run. After a 30m sprint and a fast 180°: everybody's felt because Tizy and Davide fighted like animals to arrive first, Luca was also on the ground with them because there wasn't enough space to pass, in fact Savio from Italy arrived later and passed without troubles..Luca got up fastest than Tizy and Davide, and took the 2nd place cause Savio was so far..damn! The real "war" for the 3rd place was from the 2 PS members, they got up and took some speed to arrive at the gimkana...no way to arrive there: another big crash over the ground, Davide tried to pass Tizy but they felt again and took a big hurt against the barrier. Got up again, they started slowly this time...and arrived at the bank-to-bank where Davide improved his pushing and took finally Tizy, he pushed more too and they fighted again curve to curve, attaching to the tires, to the barriers, destroying all track..the last curve Tizy took a barrier with both hands to don't fall, Davide was external and Tizy passed for some centimeters, they pushed to their limit to arrive...Tizy 3rd and Davide 4th, but the judges disqualified them for the too much violence on the track..anyway this is the rollercross! The afternoon was dominated by style slalom, more friendly to see :D Tizy and Davide completely destroyed but happy because it was the first time they arrive together on the same place in cross, even if they were out of competition :) Barbara took the Rollercup as an occasion to show her ability with her Evo skates, she did the best run of the girls and took easy the first place without any doubt, her techical tricks were a weapon to win again! For the men category, Davide had some problems to the ankles but anyway he did a very great job, Luca did also a great run, less penalities, good tricks and combos, to reach the 2nd place! And Tizy took again the 1st place with a good run :) So on Monday we had to do speed slalom and high jump (only Luca jumped). The track was super fast, we started anyway without trying the competition line...strange but because we were in late with the organization: Barbara was fast like the men, so she won her female category with incredible times (just 2 runs to decide the best of them), Luca was out because of some problems, during the trainings, Davide 2nd place and TIzy reached the first again, both of them very fast with Evo skates and juice wheels, and similar with the times :D And for the end, in high jump Luca took his Metro skates to the 4th place of men category with a great performance as well!
