Gold for Raphaela Schrader at the Inline Alpine German Nationals
Bad Kötzingen was the host city of the German championships in the slalom and giant slalom diciplines, the  most important national race for inline alpine skaters in 2010. The giant slalom on Saturday was a rain battle. The two Powerslide girls fighted for the victory but missed it by some hundreds of a second. Julia Grüning captured silver, Raphaela took bronce. Benedict Heudorfer-Merz also took silver for the men. The conditions changed for the slalom races on Sunday. It was cloudy, but sunny and dry. The girls finished with a double victory. Raphaela won gold followed by her teammate Julia. The young mens team did also well and took a 5th, 6th, 8th and 10th place besides the silver medal during the weekend.
